This month in Tea & Contemplation, we explore Burnout.⠀

Whether we're talking about the collective exhaust we feel from the ongoing and ever changing pandemic (welp, guess it's time to restock those N95's), or the very personal emotions involved in how we feel about our work, ourselves, the moveable or immovable parts of our own individual situations, burnout is nearly a social universal now. We all get what it means, on a visceral level.⠀
⠀
However.⠀
⠀
Rather than glorifying it like we praise "busy" as a badge of honor, what if we did something about it? ⠀
⠀
What can we actually do to acknowledge, speak our truth, and be kind to ourselves right now? Can we be self-compassionate together?⠀
⠀
Where in our life, no matter how small of an area, can we choose to step away for our own mental and physical wellbeing?⠀
⠀
And how can we do this in the face of detractors who may call us "quitters" for standing up for our own life? ⠀
⠀
This is our exploration this month. Pull up some good tea and join us. ⠀
⠀
Tea & Contemplation is live every Friday at 8am CST. We offer a private group sharing/healing circle during each session, after the guided tea meditation and themed discussion.
