well, best laid plans and all. the aforementioned well, best laid plans and all. the aforementioned patio for our saturday morning outdoor tea session with @mojoosh's Summer Tea program is... well, a bit gone now. an insanely strong storm system and tornado came through chicago yesterday. 🌪️ very heavy damage in the neighborhoods near us. it basically sounded and felt like a train hit our building (winds were 100mph/160km). fortunately, we're safe and the windows, walls and ceiling seem to be sound. but we do have some serious damage, so this virtual session won't be outside as planned, sorry tea friends. i'm going to make the best of it for you, though, with some creativity inside my usual tea studio space and hopefully we can bring the nature feeling indoors with us. 🌱 feeling very exhausted but grateful today. going to have (and hug) more tea now. -- i hope to see you for tea saturday morning!
